In the past week Connect member Natasha de Vere added lots of new images to her photo album, Barcode Wales, which highlights her work as the Head of Conservation and Research at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

• Abdullah Alaklabi is a doctoral student who is interested in DNA barcoding initiatives for conservation
• Aagat Awasthi is a researcher/faculty member at the Center for Molecular Dynamics Nepal (CMDN) in Kathmandu
• Khomdram Bijoya Devi is a doctoral student at Assam University, where he studies barcoding ornamental fish and fish parasites
• Lúcio Santos is a student who is involved in using barcoding data in taxonomy/systematic biology
• Mike Verbeeck is an amateur taxonomist who is interested in arthropoda
• Gabriela Ibarguchi is a research associate at Queen’s University in Canada
• Jijy R is a research intern at BioZone Research technologies
• Lewis Campbell is pursuing his masters degree at Bangor University, where he is currently working on generating and verifying the ability of COI barcodes as a taxonomic tool in the Cryptelytrops albolabris (white lipped tree viper) species group
• Joana Matzen da Silva is a doctoral student at the University of Aveiro, and is researching the biodiversity and evolution of Malacostraca
• Ahmad Reza Katouzian is a doctoral student at the University of Tehran in Iran
