1st DNA Barcoding Training Workshop in Bangladesh

A Short Training Workshop on “Tools of Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics in DNA Barcoding” has began at the PRTC laboratory in Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU), Bangladesh, from February 12 and will continue up to 16 February, 2012. The workshop is jointly organised by USDA Biotech Research Project of the Department of Zoology, University of Chittagong and PRTC, CVASU. Twenty two participants from different universities, research institutes and colleges around Bangladesh are attending. Professor Dr. Sankar K Ghosh of the Department of Biotechnolgy, Assam University, India, is the Key resorurce person.
