Different groups in our Molecular Biology Lab at the Zoology Department work in barcoding different animals. Interested in DNA Barcoding of Lepidoptera of India
Hello Friends,
I have just undergone 21 days training in DNA Bar coding of Animals, primarily based on CO I mt gene and use of Genious Software, DNeasy Blood and Tissue Kit under the guidance of Dr George Thomas and Dr Sanil George of Rajiv Gandhi Center of Biotechnology, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. It was more of Hands-on Training and less theoretical.
With this training, now i have sufficient confidence to enhance my morpho-taxonomic skills with molecular ones to workout…
