Yes it will work on plants also provided it should be a root sample. As the roots have majority of the inhibitors and it becomes difficult for any buffer to invade the cells to release the DNA.

- Currently i am involved in the extraction of DNA from different samples using Kapa Biosystem reagents in Mumbai. So far we have worked on more than 25 plant samples, bacterial, fungal, tissues, bones, feathers and many others in a cheapest and convenient way. Anyone in India or in Asia can contact me for the same. We have started helping the Scientists working at CIFE, CIFT and many others. We have magnetic beads based DNA extraction (automated & manual). Feel free to write me on any issue i would try to rectify is at the earliest.
