So, Megan, do you think it is better to use the triplet in the Sample ID field? or is it better to use only the number? I know it accepts the character but when I do the Taxon ID and select Sample ID as an identifier, the triplet does not come back.

Megan,
I hipe you are doing well in Guelph. I wanted to edit my data in BOLD and included in the specimen ID the TRIPLET, example IBUNAM:CNAV:025246, but I don't think the system like the use of colon. Could you comment on that please? Patricia Escalante

Hi Megan,

Glad to know you too. I´am current developing a dna barcode in plants. But I have some problems to manage the data and upload the initial information to the website before get our sequences. Could you recommend me some tips ?, do you think I gonna need an extra sofware like CodonAligner for analysis of our barcode data?.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards

Hi Megan,

Glad to know of your interest in the Database working group - perhaps we should start a group for that activity and link to the barcode data standard?

Anyway, thanks for all your hard work in MX!

Best Regards, -Bob
