i have some samples of triatomine´s bugs. Are some legs, some of them have at lest 10 years and are saved in ethanol and some others in nothing. Then i have another samples that are DNA isolated and that i use to get ND4 and ITS2 Products. Do you think that this sample could work for barcode sequence or i have to do something special with the sample to make it work?
Thanks for your response about sorting discussions. Actually, it was within a particular discussion that I was hoping it would be possible to sort postings, by most recent posting activity. Is that possible?
Thanks, -Peter
I send you this message in this opportunity to ask you if you know how can I do to apply for funds to can send our two students to the ECBOL2 - Portugal this year for learn and present their results that they are developing for their thesis.

Great question. I would recommend the following. First off, create a post in the Forum under the category Community News and Events. You can add a pdf attachment to your post, as well as include a link to the flash version on issuu.com. You could even embed the issuu.com version in your post, if you are comfortable doing so. Otherwise I'm sure a link will suffice. Also, you might consider asking people to provide you feedback in the forum on the newsletter, as its a great way for people to easily give you their two cents.
As people don't always check the forum routinely, I would also recommend creating a blog post about the newsletter and direct people to the forum post where they can check it out. Its easy to link a forum discussion and a blog post together. Simply copy the URL of the forum discussion once you have posted it, and make that a link in your blog post.
Finally, I would recommend contacting Kris Jett at CBOL about adding a blurb about the newsletter to her next Connect-wide broadcast message.
Let me know if you need any assistance with any of these things.
-Matthew
My apologies for the two last messages. I did not realize that there was a specific forum or events, best wishes

The online registration and abstract submission for ECBOL2 is now available at http://ecbol2.bio.uminho.pt/Registration.html.
Please note that the conference is open to participants from any country, not only Europe. Contributions can be made in the form of oral presentations and/or posters. We can only accommodate a maximum of 200 participants.
In our website we provide a list of hotels and prices for conference participants. Hotel reservations should be made through the conference travel agency TAGUS (check the website for details). Although the hotel list is not complete yet, we advise conference delegates to make hotel reservations as soon as possible to assure accommodation.
We are very pleased to announce that the ECBOL2 opening keynote on “The Global Status of Biodiversity” will be presented by the distinguished Professor Stuart Pimm (Duke University, NC, USA)
We sincerely hope that you will join us in making ECBOL2 a success. We look forward to welcome you in Braga.
