What I have done in the past is put a small amount of fresh tissue in a buffer (e.g. CTAB) in a 1.5 mL tube, then dry down the rest of the specimen for the herbarium. You will need to have collection codes to link the samples of course.…"

We will still need chromatograms to make some of these (the ITS sequences) barcodes however."
