This clock is the memento of the ongoing DNA Barcode workshop.

The clock contains three items, the globe, the mitochondrial genome, flora & fauna.

'Globe' meant for the objective of DNA Barcoding being the creation of Global reference library of Biodiversity.

'Mitochondrial genome' meant for the concept of DNA Barcoding being carrier of Maternally inheriting character of life.

'Flora & Fauna' meant for the progress of DNA Barcoding endeavour of Department of Biotechnology of Assam University, Silchar, India.
