Hi! Whenever I try to import bulk traces I get the message "Imported 0 traces". I can add traces one by one which makes me think its a problem with the name matching. We are matching the GUID in the field data with the GUID in the ab1 file name. One problem that we are running into is that sometimes the GUID is the 3rd part of the name while other times it is the 4th, depending on how specifically the sample is classified. Also the next _ (seperator) is after a ".primer. Any suggestions on what we can do? I'm attaching a screen shot so you can take a look. The truth is that I'm not really sure what the problem is. If you were searching for well numbers, Geneious is smart enough to realise that there is extra stuff added onto the end, but it's harder to do for arbitrary fields.
What I would suggest doing is using a tool to batch-rename the files (I would try to find and remove the .rbcl string in all the filenames). I'm not familiar with renaming tools in MacOS, but a quick google search reveals that you can do it using automator:

There's also a free program you can download:

Just set it up exactly as in the screenshot in the link, but enter ".rbcl" (without the quotes) in the "original text" box and leave the "new text" box blank.
I hope this helps!
