Dear Johannes Greetings, I'm mohana, doing my Ph.D in Bharathiar University, South India. Did you follow any specific methodology for isolating DNA from coleopterans.

Johannes,

I collect aquatic and terrestrial Coleopterans. I however, marvel at the quality of image of beetle you used on the group page. May I know the type of Camera or imaging device, pixel, zoom lens-length and reach, editing software you used for that image.

We shall discuss DNA barcoding details later.

Thanks,

AKINWALE, M-M.A.
