Informe Nodo IBUNAM

El Instituto de Biología de la UNAM los invita el próximo jueves 24 de febrero a las 12:00 horas, al “Informe anual 2010 Proyecto Código de Barras de la Vida (MexBOL), Nodo IBUNAM”. En donde se presentará el trabajo que se ha realizado a lo largo del año, mostrando resultados y avances del ensamble del laboratorio de código de barras. Y se discutirán brevemente las oportunidades de participación en el proyecto global y en la Red Temática del Código de Barras –MexBOL.

Lugar: Auditorio del Jardín Botánico, UNAM.

Comment by Nathan Johnson on November 3, 2011 at 2:03pm: Hi - I'm interested in DNA barcoding native freshwater mussels (Bivalvia:Unionidae) found in Mexico to expand existing efforts ongoing in Texas and other areas of the US. Does anyone have contacts of people working with freshwater mussels in Texas or someone interested in helping us with collections? I'm currently working with the AFS Endangered Species Committee on a checklist to include freshwater mussels in Mexico and would like to work towards a comprehensive DNA barcode library as well. Si son estudiantes, podría quizás integrarse su tutor. Saludos.
