We're pleased to announce publication of the first issue of the
Barcode Bulletin – the newsletter of the International Barcode of Life project (iBOL). It’s a colourful 12 pages of news and views that will interest not just iBOL collaborators but anyone involved in DNA barcoding and/or biodiversity genomics.
Issue 1 has a report on the 3rd international Barcode of Life conference in Mexico City, a story about what happened when two New York teenagers decided to barcode their neighbourhood, a feature on the ongoing all-taxon barcode inventory of Churchill in the Canadian Arctic, reports on barcoding initiatives in Mexico, Bavaria, India and Norway, a barcode crossword and much, much more.
There
are three ways to get the Barcode Bulletin:

Bulletin and other iBOL publications, just send an email to
subscribe@ibolproject.org. And don’t forget we’re always open to comments, suggestions, compliments (the more the better) and, of course, your contributions. It could be anything – a great photo, a personal barcoding adventure story, an update on your project –
you name it. Post your comments and ideas for future content to this forum or send us a message at
newsletter@ibolproject.org.
We hope that you enjoy reading the Barcode Bulletin.
