Did temporary environment factors alteration vary gene make up??

Dear colleagues

Environment factors alteration would affect gene expression associated with the physiological status or gene-function relationship.

And the continueos alteration such as climate change would change DNA make up and may create new subspecies.

So, the question here, did temporary alteration vary gene composition or only gene expression???
